Spring Has Sprung at the farm

I love Springtime, almost as much as I love Autumn. All of the world here is awakening. Birds sing their songs and the animals who hibernated all winter long are beginning to rouse from their sleep. It is a sign to horse folks that wonderful weather is on the way and miles of riding or driving time will arrive.
It seems Spring weather arrived a little early this year. We have daffodils up and either blooming or ready to. The tulips I planted last Fall are up and looking ever so healthy. The horses are all shedding like mad to get rid of their winter coats, and we have been enjoying the warm sunshine. You should see the pastures ! Where the light colored horses have rolled in them, there are white " horse angels'' .
